The SOSTAC model and associated methodology are now used by blue chip corporations around the world and also by many smaller businesses and organisations. In some ways SOSTAC has been a victim of its own success - rather like hoover means vacuum and xerox means photocopy - such is the price of inventing a good concept and name to go with it...
As stated in the heading the SOSTAC acronym stands for:

  • Control
This is what I am using for my Viral Marketing Presentation. I have really come to enjoy it because it offers you the steps to analyzs a problem, how to change it and then how to keep it going on this track. I am doing Viral Marketing for Tuli Hotels, a very interesting topic because in todays world you think that everyone that has a business is all over the internet to be make their company Viral. Well Tuli Hotels seems to be lacking behind a bit. They are located in India but even most parts of India have internet by now.
Either way this presentaiton has been fun to make to come up with ideas how to make them viral and how to analyze their current situation.
